Dee Dee Sedgwick

Executive Director

In 2009 Dee Dee Sedgwick, a native San Antonian, accepted the position of Blueprint Ministries Executive Director. She had previously served as a youth director for a large church in San Antonio for over 30 years.

Dee Dee has a great love for people and a desire to serve them by meeting physical needs and sharing the message of grace and hope found in Jesus Christ. Dee Dee and her wonderful husband, Perry, have two (plus two by marriage) incredible children and four grand-children – all of who are great joys in their lives.

Ron mayott

Program and camp director

Ron is an 18-year veteran of youth ministry who has served with Young Life and a variety of churches in San Antonio, Houston and Huntington Beach, CA.  He studied Speech Communications at Texas Christian University and also has a Master of Arts in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA.

Ron loves building relationships with students and equipping them for a life of mission. He is thrilled to have the opportunity to serve with Blueprint and looks forward to sharing the love of Christ with the great people of San Antonio.  

Ron is a die-hard TCU Horned Frog and you can anticipate him sharing his love of sports, food, movies and music with all of his friends.  You can count on his support of the San Antonio Spurs and he will happily oblige any ticket offers to attend games in person.

His wife Bethany is excited to make the journey to San Antonio as well.  Ron & Bethany have been married since June 2012.  Bethany is originally from Bakersfield, Ca.  She has spent the last 9 years working in Higher Education at Vanguard University of Southern California and with Houston Baptist University. 


Doug Vignes

Construction and facilities director

Doug is a native San Antonian. He has been blessed with a beautiful wife Colby, and two amazing daughters. Five year old Emery, and one year old Audrey. Doug spent many years growing up working in several capacities with Service Over Self (SOS), an inner city home repair ministry, working primarily in the Binghampton neighborhood of Memphis.

While in Memphis his passion for serving families in need of home repair grew tremendously. He is excited to be working at Blueprint as the construction and facilities director and continues to look forward to being a small part of the restoration of homes in the San Antonio area for many more years to come! Doug is a graduate of Texas Tech University, and enjoys cheering on his fellow Red Raiders. Doug is an avid golfer, as well as a sub par indoor soccer player.


Layton Kauffman

Community engagement Director, construction

Layton was born and raised in Northern Wisconsin. He attended a private Christian school called Northern Lights Christian Center.  He was blessed with a Christian education and upbringing, and feels that ministry was always his calling. In 2005, he decided to attend International Bible College in San Antonio. Upon completion of the four-year program at International Bible Center, he went on staff with San Antonio Youth for Christ. During his 10 years on staff there, he held many different roles including middle school director, intern director, and camp director. 

In 2011, he married his beautiful wife Claudia.  They have a daughter, Amiliyah, a toddler named Ely, and they just welcomed the newest member of their family, baby Ezrah. They also have Libby, their German Shepherd who thinks she's a human.


Aubrey McKissick

community engagement director, homeowners/ volunteers

Aubrey was born and raised in San Antonio, TX and made her way back in December of 2017 with her husband Michael. Having both grown up in San Antonio, the McKissicks shared a dream of learning Spanish and being able to communicate with their Spanish-speaking neighbors. They spent one year in an immersive Spanish school in San Jose, Costa Rica and are now equal parts "Pura Vida" and bilingual. 

Aubrey was already familiar with the vision of Blueprint after working as a part of the UUMC youth group at S.O.S. in Memphis, TN. After moving back to San Antonio from Costa Rica, Aubrey was delighted to start working as part of the Blueprint team to revive the homes (and lives) of her San Antonio neighbors.

The McKissick's love the Spurs (San Antonio and Tottenham), eating at Garcia's Mexican Food, going to concerts or the movies, and spending time with their family and friends here in San Antonio.

Assistant construction director

Ares was born in Beaumont, Texas and moved to San Antonio following hurricanes Katrina and Rita in 2005. Coming from a non-Christian and very broken household, his whole life changed when he met Jesus at a Youth for Christ retreat. It was there that he devoted his life to Christ and felt called into ministry to reach lost kids. Upon completion of a two year ministry training at San Antonio Youth for Christ, he went on staff as the site director of Connally Middle School. He is also a youth and worship leader at Bethesda Christian Church.

In his free time you’ll find him either strumming on his guitar (he’s a huge fan of blues music) or out fishing some stretch of river.


Abigail Gay

Special projects Coordinator

Abigail grew up in San Antonio, and then went to college at the University of Texas at Austin where she studied Social Work. After graduating from UT, she moved to Athens, Georgia for a year and received a Master of Social Work degree with a focus in community development and nonprofit management.

Abigail has a special heart for communities and people groups living in poverty. Abigail is a lover of the Spanish language, Latino culture, spontaneous fun opportunities, being with other people, and eating ice cream.  


Rosario Rios

Custodial & Food service coordinator

Rosario was born in San Antonio and grew up in Houston. After Houston, she lived in Wisconsin for 15 years before finally making her way back to San Antonio.

She was originally connected to Blueprint through her sisters Belinda & Juanita, who she works with in the kitchen during retreats, it's a family affair! 

When Rosario is not at Blueprint, you can find her at home spending time with her two Chihuahua's, Pee Wee & CoCo.

Scott Austin

President of the Board

Scott is the pastor of a local church, which he recently helped to plant.  He is also a business consultant.  Scott is married to Shannon and they have two sons, Chase and Grayson.


Steven E. Hearne, M.D.


Steve Hearne is from San Antonio and a graduate of the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.  Steve is a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and in the subspecialty of Gastroenterology and an Assistant Professor for the Department of Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio.

Steve has spent over 15 years in the inner city of Memphis, Tennessee repairing homes for people living in sub-standard conditions.  He is an active member of a local church as well as Emmaus and Kairos ministries.  Steve has been a member of the Blueprint Board for the last five years.  


Jeffrey Kemp

Director, Secretary and Treasurer, Founding Member

Jeff Kemp is a shareholder in Kemp & Stitch, P.C.  Jeff has over thirty years of business experience including ten years in the tax departments of the international accounting firms of Arthur Andersen & Company and KPMG Peat Marwick.  Jeff is responsible for over 350 clients ranging in size from individuals to major local companies.  Jeff is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Texas and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas A&M University in 1979.  Jeff is a member of a local church where he teaches an adult sunday school class.  He is also actively involved with missions to Guatemala.  Jeff's hobbies include golf, reading, and being a grandpa.  Jeff is a charter member of the Blueprint Board.  


Perry Sedgwick

Director, Construction Supervisor, Founding Member

Perry Sedgwick is the owner and president of Sedgwick Construction, Inc. With over 20 years of experience, Perry has completed many commercial and residential remodel jobs. Perry is a licensed, residential and commercial, building contractor for San Antonio and the State of Texas. Perry’s prior work experience includes serving as the Regional Sales Manager for U.S.A.A.’s Life Company and Owner/General Manager of Lone Star Fireplace Supply Company.

Perry, along with his wife Dee Dee, worked to start Blueprint Ministries, Inc. Perry helped oversee the extensive restoration done on Blueprint’s one hundred year old facility. Perry serves in the ministry now as the volunteer Construction Supervisor guiding the selection of homes, order of projects, projected materials needed, and supervision of work done. Perry’s interests include golfing and spending time with his wife, two children and four grandchildren.


Beth Eadie


Originally from Georgia, Beth has called San Antonio home for the last seventeen years. Beth is married to John Eadie and they will soon celebrate their 29th anniversary.  They have one son, Matt, who is a graduate of Auburn University.  Beth graduated from Berry College in Rome, Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Home Economics and a minor in Business. Beth taught in Northside ISD and Northeast ISD for 22 years, is certified in special education, and has experience working with students who have various levels of learning. Beth currently works for Covenant Multifamily Office and assists families with day to day needs.

Beth is a member of a local church and serves in many different capacities.

Shannon Davis

Legal counsel, Founding Member

Shannon Sedgwick Davis is the CEO of Bridgeway Foundation, a philanthropic organization dedicated to ending and preventing mass atrocities around the world. As an attorney, activist, passionate advocate for social justice, Ms. Sedgwick Davis has guided Bridgeway Foundation in pioneering solutions to these seemingly intractable issues. More recently, Ms. Sedgwick Davis and the Bridgeway Foundation have been credited for their pivotal role in mobilizing awareness, civilian protection, and recovery efforts against the Lord’s Resistance Army and its leader, Joseph Kony, the first-ever indictee of the International Criminal Court.

Before joining Bridgeway Foundation in 2007, Ms. Sedgwick Davis served as Vice President of Geneva Global and was the Director of Public Affairs at the International Justice Mission (IJM).

Ms. Sedgwick Davis is an honors graduate of McMurry University and Baylor Law School. Ms. Sedgwick Davis currently serves on the advisory council of the Elders and is a board member of several organizations including Humanity United, charity:water, This Bar Saves Lives, Verdant Frontiers, Virunga Fund Inc., and formerly, TOMS LLC.


Sam Davis

Legal Counsel

Sam Davis is an attorney and proud San Antonio native.  He practices in the Children's and Probate courts, respectively.  He and his wife Shannon have two amazing sons, Connor and Brody.  Sam volunteers with Child Advocates San Antonio (CASA) and Catholic Charities.  He is also active in community theatre.
