Q: Does Blueprint Ministries have a denominational affiliation? 
A: No.  Blueprint is a faith based non-profit (registered 501c3) and works with churches and ministries of different denominations as well as several non-faith based organizations.

Q: Who can participate? 
A: Middle school, high school, college-age and adults may participate in our work days and weeks. A special exception allows children 4th grade and up to participate in family work days or weeks. For these events, 4th and 5th grade student’s parents must also be participating. Summer camp age ranges are 6th-12th grade. All skills levels are welcome.

Q: What kind of work will my team be doing?
A: Groups perform basic construction work depending on the group’s abilities. Construction projects include roofing, flooring repair, dry wall work and painting. Groups will also be establishing relationships with homeowners and mutually sharing in each other’s lives stories.

Q: How many people are on each team?
A: Youth teams usually consist of 6-8 students (6th-12th grade) and two adults.  Adult teams are usually 5-8 people. Teams will generally serve the same homeowner for a full week of service.

Q: Who supervises the work done?
A: We have Summer Staff that have a variety of handyman/construction type skills. We work to have one supervisor to one-three worksites.

Q: What tools do we need to bring?
A: Blueprint provides most of the needed tools. Individuals may be asked to bring a few supplies such as dust masks, work gloves and paint roller covers.

Q: Will my students be combined with students from other churches on work sites ?
A: No. The youth leader is responsible for setting their work teams. Students will not be combined with students from different churches on a work site.

Q: Where do we sleep?
A: Blueprint’s facility can accommodate up to 140 people. We have 3 dorm rooms for males and 3 dorm rooms for females. We provide the beds; you provide the linens.

Q: How much does camp cost?
A: The 2024 camp tuition is $398.00 per person. This cost covers all lodging, food, tools, materials, programming and a camp t-shirt. See the camp booking page for more payment details.

Q: Can Blueprint accommodate food allergies?
A: Blueprint Ministries is not a soy, gluten or nut free facility. While we will do our best to accommodate requests, we cannot guarantee that our menu is free of specific allergens. You may bring your own allergen-free options and we are happy to provide separate storage and refrigeration for those items. 

 Q: What is Blueprint’s COVID-19 policy?
A: Blueprint Ministries adheres to local city, state, and CDC regulations. The health and safety of our homeowners and volunteers is of utmost importance to us.
